    Sierra 223 55 gr HPBT Gameking ?

    Hi guys
    Anyone tried these on deer ?
    Thought I might give them a try.
    He nui to ngaromanga, he iti to putanga.

    You depart with mighty boasts, but you come back having done little.
    Sounds like a typical hunting trip !

    Yes, they work well, just don't expect them to work past the normal limitations of the calibre and chambering.

    The normal lead nose (code 1365) gameking with its deeper penetration anchors game more effectively than the hollow point variant.

    Ive switched to the hp gameking from a heavier 60 gr hornady offering after seeing how well they work. Dynamite on fallow and goats at under 200m not enough gun for reds in my opinion though at anything but polnt blank but i have a friend who has killed a lot using them.

    Try the 65gr Sierra thru an 8 twist. Truly accurate and devastating.Saw a 370m shot on Friday thru the neck with it via a bipod.Ranged with Leica and watched with Swaro.
