    Sierra Spitzer Boat Tails

Anyone had any experience with Sierra Spitzer Boat Tails? In particular 7mm 150 gr.

Have run them in my 270. The 130s work real good. Nice simple no frills bullet that plain worked

I use to use .30 cal 165gr, they killed deer well but were a bit hard for goats. They shot well and have a good accuracy reputation.

Yep they are a good bullet, i run them as the mag fit load in my 7mm SAUM. All of these sierra Gamekings and the prohunters (the flat base ones) have a reputation for being very accurate and i have certainly found this to be true in all the various cartriges ive used them in from 22 cal 6mm 6.5mm and 7mm, they all shoot bloody well.

As far as terminal performance goes, they just work, expand well and make nice expanded mushrooms. A nice simple bullet that just plain works. I drive the 150gr Sierra Gameking at 3k from my 7mm SAUM, just a medium load that fits in the M7's short mag for walking in and bush stalking etc. Its prob all the bullet one needs for inside 500 yards.
