Not sure if this is of any help, but for 90gr 257, 1 1/2” low at 50 yards means it drops tp line of sight ( zero ) at 220 yards.
IE at 50 yards it’s still rising, and will drop to line of sight at 220 yards

Actually looks like I’ve said the same thing twice !
Google is your friend here, but you’ll need to know barrel length and projectile weight.
He nui to ngaromanga, he iti to putanga.

You depart with mighty boasts, but you come back having done little.
Sounds like a typical hunting trip !

That's pretty well along the lines I was thinking
If I miss you will all get blamed
Got to blame someone for being a piss poor shot - which I always have been

When it asks "sight above barrel"
Does that mean height measurement muzzle centre to X hair centre

I remember reading my first Rex Forrester book where he said the early cullers he worked with sighted their .303's in to be 1" high at 100 yards to get them 3' high at 100-yards. I still do similar after bore sighting to get me closer to where I want when I move out to 100 to sight in

yip....and it works out pretty good. its not hard to chuck a ruler alongside and take EDUCATED guess (see Ive learnt you go to highlight the important bits) IF you are out by a little bit it wont matter a huge amount at sub 200 yards..... oh and when you DO get it sighted where you want it....go back and check it at 25 yards......then remember what height you need to be......

ta dah...... chuck in what info you have and take edumicated guestimation for the rest.....it will be near enough to not matter unless you stretching barrel.
plurry interesting exercise to keep changing zero to find out most practicle zero distance for what you are doing...eg my .223 now is 2" high at hundy as it "fits" my type of hunting ranges better.
