@Micky Duck
Cheers for that
When it asks "sight above barrel"
Does that mean height measurement muzzle centre to X hair centre
I remember reading my first Rex Forrester book where he said the early cullers he worked with sighted their .303's in to be 1" high at 100 yards to get them 3' high at 100-yards. I still do similar after bore sighting to get me closer to where I want when I move out to 100 to sight in![]()
yip....and it works out pretty good. its not hard to chuck a ruler alongside and take EDUCATED guess (see Ive learnt you go to highlight the important bits) IF you are out by a little bit it wont matter a huge amount at sub 200 yards..... oh and when you DO get it sighted where you want it....go back and check it at 25 yards......then remember what height you need to be......
