Hi Guys, I've finally got off my chuff to let you know what I've come up with. I persevered with the 2213, got just short of 2700fps but the accuracy wasn't there (1.5 Moa), I mucked around with seating depths, neck sizing, but couldn't get it any better. So, changed to 2209, immediate improvement, got 2690 with 44gr pushing the SST140's and tighten the group to 1 MOA. I'm sure I'll be able to get it better, but I'm running out of time and need to go and shoot some animals.
I've been following Magnetite's thread with interest, and one of his last posts regarding the accuracy between 2209 and 2213, so I will need to go back there and see if I can improve. I also need to get the gorse out of my pockets and buy some new brass to use as a bench mark.
Anyway, thanks very much for all your help and advise, it stopped me from guessing. Cheers.

47 grn N560 gets me 2700 in my two Husky 1640's. Thats with Lapua brass and 143 eldx. I did push it higher with up to I think 49 grains but 47 was accurate and will be kinder on barrel and case. How many reloads you guys get from lapua 6.5x55 brass?

Some of my brass has had half a dozen firings, but someone who keeps better records than me would be able to better answer that. Because I'm so tight, I keep reloading until I see pressure signs, and then I biff it, not the best way, but.

@Lambie that could be the difference. If the powder hasn't fully combusted at muzzle exit the gases can upset the bullet. Suppressors can help strip these gases away from the bullet. I've pondered 2208 for lower muzzle pressure, but never tested it.

Magnetite, you could well be right, the rifle hasn't been re-crowned so there could be imperfection there. That might be the next step, I'm not a fan of suppressors, so won't go there. But I did get the gorse out of my pocket and brought some new brass so that will give me my "bench mark", so we'll see were we end up.
