    @robh500,

    Seems we don't know yet where it sticks.

    Take permanent marker, colour round from tip of projectile to base, let it dry, shove in, extract, read.

    Photo would be interesting.

    @Cordite ive done that and can’t seem to see where the problem is!
    My case gauge just showed up on the courier and results are interesting, they seem to fit in the gauge but still not chamber by a long way!
    Photos to follow.

    Stop whingeing and ram it in harder then! Or maybe not.

    Have an idea, why not colour in an empty sized case, stick it into the chamber and ram it home HARD with the bolt. That should leave a mark, safely.

    Apologies in advance… Has anyone suggested to pull 5-10 rounds and "TRIM" it to length and reload it again and check if it will close/fit??? Been reading through the posts and i couldn't see anything in this line… It can be the brass is just to long and touching the chamber end before be able to fully close the bolt...

    Hope it "helps" or give some "light" to the problem...

    Very merry christmas everyone!

    If you have a factory round handy, it might be a help to see if that chambers, and then do a comparison visually and with the gauge with one of yours.

    Neck not sized far enough down the case!
    Any ideas about how to go forth?
    Unsized bit it 10 thou larger
    I used a 243 bushing in redding die to size originally, is it worth buying another bushing to size the bulge or do I have to pull all the pills?

    Or leave them aside, to use in a rifle with a more generously sized chamber -- like the one they were originally fired in. Happy Christmas.
