Something New
Greetings,
I was just out in the shed weighing out some charges of AR2213SC and I spotted something pale yellow in the powder in the pan. I picked it out of the charge with the tip of a fine screwdriver and had a good look at it. It was the same size and shape as the powder granules, just a different colour. I assume that it was just a powder granule that had missed it's final antistatic coating. Anyone else spotted this?
GPM.

Seen it a few times now
Definitely missing a coating
Likely the last flame retardant to control the burn speed

Yep seen that too , from memory in 2213SC as well.

Thanks for that,
I had not seen it before in over 50 years of handloading.

Yep, seen that too. First noticed sometime this year.
Anybody noticed any difference in shooting loads ? I haven't.
