Thread: Source of shot for neck sizing graphite lube

I've seen it mentioned that a tobacco tin of graphite covered shot is a good way of lubing the inside of necks.

Graphite I can get.
What is the best source of shot (for someone who does not own a shotgun...)

How much do you need?

Just go visit your local shotgun club and ask for a couple of shells...

small bottle of airgun BBs works too,but just getting a shotgun shell or 2 off someone is far easier and cheaper...surely you know someone who does use a shotgun...

Could mail you some if you dont know anyone who can give you a shotgun shell

I think I used some No.8 shot. For gods sake, don't use anything other than lead in case one ends up inside a shell..

Passed by Fish City and bought some splitshot - will give that a go.

We all know, of course, that the correct course of action would have been to buy a shotgun.

I had never considered that......might be time to change mine...been using steel 7.5s for years.
