Going to get a wet Tumbler in the next week or two

Out of curiosity, does it have to be pins?
Apparently so
They need to fit through the flash holes etc for best results so im told
Having Dutch ancestry I made a wet tumbler and just use dish wash sunlight detergent and a spoon of citric acid for case cleaning. Still have to clean out 1 in 10 stubborn primer pockets though.
I have wondered if getting busy with sidecutters and a length of stainless welding wire would result in poor man's tumbling pins.

If you use it wrong enough.
Bought a 1kg bag from Aliexpress for about $40 which included shipping. Working perfectly well.

@rambo-6mmrem before you splash out on pins, have a go with just washing cases.
I use a teaspoon of citric acid powder, 1 teaspoon of the purple Palmolive dish soap in the 7lt Frankford wet tumbler
Dry the cases in a dehydrator (or the oven when your Mrs is out, haha)

I got the ones off AliExpress, the ones you want are the 1.2x6.8mm. Working well so far, I hear what you are saying with the shipping times thou, could take a while. As others have said, dishwashing liquid and 1/2 teaspoon of citric acid makes the brass look like new
Cheers mate will try that
Im cleaning mainly black powder brass from my 45-70 and 38-50 Hepburn these days so requires alot more cleaning than the modern smokeless powders the ultra sonic dose a good job of getting it clean but I still need to Media Tumble it to remove tarnish
Was hoping wet tumbling would help with double handling everything
Only clean my smokeless brass every couple of times I use it
Unless it’s dirty for some reason
But im only shooting 50 maybe 100 max per year through the modern rifle for hunting and a few practice shots and zero checks so as a result doing sweet fa reloading as most people know it
