    stainless steel media

    Just making my tumbler and want to know who uses stainless steel media and where to get it.

    thanks. the drum I'm using is made from 5ltr McGregor's pressure sprayer (garden weed spray thing) with 12v wiper motor. I'll put some photos up when I get it done

    It works whatever amount you use, but you're really smashing your brass a lot unnecessarily if you use too little. Mine's about the same volume, and a third kilo has sped everything up significantly too.

    I made my own in a similar way, but a 1ltr coffee tin.
    Just use 1.5kg of the pins from Serious Shooters.

    So far Ive only done 50 223 cases at a time which works well.

    These guys have all sorts. small tumblers for 200. And 1kg of stainless pins for 67.
    I'm not sure if that's good or bad but thought it might be of some interest

    An old car wiper motor.
    I've modified my tumbler dince to use an old whey protein containet.
    Works great, cleaned up hundreds of 223 and 260 brass.
