    Starline Rifle Brass

What are people's experiences with Starline rifle brass?

With pistol it is considered top of the line. For rifle seems well priced. Where I have dedicated reloading from the start in a calibre I have always just gone Lapua, unless when have a heap of factory cases like in 308 or 270.

I have used it in 30 06 and found it to be very consistent in both weight and length, would definitely use it again

Going good so far in my 243, well priced alright. Seems to be good quality, very consistent weights, lengths etc. Wish they made 6.5 PRC brass.

Very underrated brass IMO. Americans have lots of good things to say about it. I havnt used it much to comment more but for hunting and field shooting it's more than adequate. Backed. My previous load in sako brass off a bit and shoot half moa 3shot group.

I have only used it in .44-40, in which it lasts forever basically.

My experience is using it for my 223 , as others have said ," underrated" . I would add , I found the brass to be extremely hard and annealed all 200 pieces , it just improved on what was already very good and I could have probably just sized them to reduce the neck tension , annealing will give more consistency when I reuse .Over here Starline is a third of the price of Lapua , so if cases gets lost when out foxing its easier to stomach and I don't begrudge doing a little extra case prep '.
The biggest issue over here , at the moment is supply of any components.
    Definitely worth the money.

Very Happy with it in the 45/70 . Was pleasently surprised at the price. From memory bout $1.50 a case

Will second that. My 45-70 brass is on its 6th cycle and none of them are/were defective

Yes, I've noticed that. Tried to jam a heap of RL16 in for a 6.5 CR and wasn't much room compared to hornady.
