    The original container with the lid on properly is adequate to stop moisture ingress. So DampRid is not really required.

    I agree. I have at least 1kg of AS50N I purchased at least 30 years ago. Still fine.
    Even use it for squib loads in my 223.

    Just stored in original can in a steel locker in the shed. Up to 45c in summer, as low as 4c in the winter in the shed.
