Nearing the end of a packet of 7mm Amax's i discovered this......




A Tiny lil .224 cal 30g projectile !!!


Has anyone else found anything odd in their reloading component boxes ?

Picked before maturity.

Most exciting I have found is some rat shit.

Clearly in the interests of avoiding waste you'd better buy a new slow-twist 223 or perhaps .22-250 just to fire that projectile... and then of course seeing as you already have the rifle, better buy a few more projectiles to finish the group. Logic, see?

Looks like it might be time you sat down with your amax's and told them the story about the birds and the bees. Have found an sst in a box of interlocks before and the other day i found a three subsonics in a packet of winchester supersonic 22 ammunition

Many years ago I found a 500 gr 45 cal in a box of 139 gr Hornady Interlocks.

.224 35gr Vmax - devastating out of the hornet

Just need a nice 22 Hornet now

I recently bought a 5,000 projectile bulk box of .224 55gr Hornady projectiles and found 5 or 6 9mm handgun projectiles mixed in. Funniest bit was asking my 13yo son to "take the box out of the back of the ute and put it in the shed" ........ he thought it was bolted to the floor when he went to pick it up. It weighed 40kg!
