About LinkBacksI was told to use a 190 to 200grn projectile with 10-12grn trailboss. BUT I'm not a reloader and haven't tested or used.
another gunsmith strongly encouraged me to not bother, as 30 cal is 'too smal'l - that I needed 'a big piece of lead' to drop an animal even up close.
Admit I'm still interested if I can with my .308 if only for that sneaky shot where I don't want to disturb the natives. . . . . .
