Thread: Subsonic 7mm loads

from what Ive seen and experienced....and I gave it a plurry good tootoo
UNLESS you are going to go all out and dial up/rangefind/load till cows come home to get super tight groups AND head/neck shoot
you will need lehigh super explody EXPENSIVE projectiles......the cast ones are great...its the subsonic bit that makes anything sucky
you poking a hole through animal...the really good expandy projectiles will make that hole slightly larger BUT STILL DONT DELIVER SHOCK.....and thats the big difference....
Roberts cast projectiles are about as good as it gets without spending huge $$$$ on lehigh.......
for finishing shots ,subsonic is awesome......lower speed but still supersonic,is still quieter than full power loads and the cast will shine at 1500fps....
