Thread: Superformance and rem mag

Anyone ran superformance in a rem mag? Particularly the 150 - 168gr range of pills. It’s looking like I have talked my mate into a Tikka and will be trying what we have on hand first before tracking down the usual rem mag powders. Cheers.

Used 162grn in South Westland this roar.
Pole Axe from 10m out to 400m. Didnt try any further. All good bodied stags
At range shot 3 touching at 100m and 5 shots in a 2 inch square dialed up at 500m. My first time dialing so I think I could improve on this.

Rl22 and superformance give very similar results with superformance being better if case capacity an issue.
I used rl22 in the 7mm rem with 120 - 162s with good success.

It should be ok as it has a similar burn rate as 2213 SC which I used in my 7mm Rem and 162 gr Interlocks many years back. Don't have a load for SF in 7mm Mag but would be interested to see how you get on with that sort of combo.
