As BRADS has mentioned, the 3.5 -18 is a good option. I found it handy to have the 3.5 magnification for use where close range shooting is likely to occur while the 18 x is good enough for most of the longer range shots. If you were only shooting gongs at 1000 m then you'd be better off listening to anyone else but me... but for most of what we do in NZ that Z5 is a great scope. I use a Z6 now (2.5-15x) and the top-end loss of magnification (3) wasn't worth worrying about, but I still like using my mates Z5 3.5-18x44. Lovely scope.
The 5-25x would be great too but you would probably find the "5" too much for close in bush work, if that's where you go hunting some of the time.
