    Tahr factory ammo for a 7 08

I know most of you guys probably reload, but I'm wanting some tips about factory ammo I can use in my Jaffa T3 7mm08. Mainly Tahr and deer. Have been using 120ttsx hand loads, but finding that the fact that I don't do it myself makes it annoying if I need ammo. I'm not that organised...

    Any thought appreciated

One of mates solely uses highland, another only uses Winchester and another only uses blue packet federal. I use whatever if I haven't reloaded it myself. None of them own a 7mm-08 to be fair but still point is they all kill and it comes down to what your rifle likes the best

Yea I'm wanting something that will have good knockdown and just not quite sure where to start. Also don't want to spend hundreds on different packets of ammo

MHO, I think for the 7-08 and Tahr you may look for Hornady Superformance or the other brands in the same line. Projectiles "bonded" with weight of 140gr or 150gr.

Hope it helps, not cheap thou...

I know of that being shot with 222rem on up you don't need expensive bonded bullets just find something about the 140gn that your rifle likes and go with that they are NOT bullet proof

Try some of the Federal premium factory ammo options.

ie 140gn Fusion, 140gn Nosler Partition, or 140gn Bonded tip.
