Thread: Targex .224 69gr

I have a 9 twist model 7 223, it has been shortened by 2 inches to 18"

It shoots 55gr bullets insanely well, like 1.5-2" groups at 400 yards. However it doesnt shoot anything heavier very well, i tried the 69gr TMK's and Targex bullets, prob ok for minute of deer to 200 yards, but the groups were pretty ordinary from the 9 twist model 7. But im fussy and was looking to the one bullet to do everything from LR rabbits to deer.

Ive stayed with the 55gr SGK's which it loves, and brought a 8 twist T3 Superlight to shoot 75gr eldms.
