    Tight necks

Hi all. So I've just completed some reloading. Most bullets seated relatively easy, just the right amount of tension but a couple of bullets were quite hard to seat like the case necks were overly tight. Weird, all brass are the same brand, fired the same amount of times and neck sized with the same neck dies. Can anyone shed some light on this? I'd say this I going to mess with my load development.

Anneal them and see if they are still abnormally tight after sizing
A big fast bullet beats a little fast bullet every time

Are you seating the base of the bullet below the neck/shoulder junction?
You could have some donuts forming on your brass.
See if you can still pass a bullet down past this area in a fired case.

How far are you neck sizing or are you partial neck sizing. Some times the necks get out of whack and as suggested it might be time to anneal. Annealing ALL the time eliminates many problems.

Used a lee collet die. Don't anneal, don't have a reliable way to do it.

Went out to the range last sunday, saw no difference in performance between rounds. Worried over nothing.
