    Tight primer pockets

I loaded up some 222 cases the other day, and found the primer pockets so tight I actually checked that they weren't 223 crimped in.
These were FC cases. Anybody else found them tight?
I over came it by using the inside neck chamfering tool to ease the primer start, but they were still tight compared to a Norma or PMC case that I usually use.

Lube the primer pocket lightly using redding sizing wax on a cotton bud, makes a huge difference

Works on brand new Norma brass as well as it often has very tight primer pockets

Had the same issue with 223 federal brass, I swaged mine with the military crimp removal tool. No more problems.

Buy a primer pocket uniformer. Lots of variations between brands and high primers isn't a good thing.
