Thread: Tikka .260

I picked this up from @superdiver and what an awesome shooter so did a ladder test with 143ELDX and RL16 as well as Hodgdon superproformance powder with the Hodgdon being the winner in both speed and accuracy.
143ELDX from an 18" barrel doing 2800fps

Have you loaded them to mag length or have you seated them way out?
I've been meaning to try the Superperformance in my 260 but have never gotten round to it.

I set that rifle up with long mag and bolt, got it shooting then sold it to Wildman, shoul'd have bloody kept it ! Shoots the Hornady Sp's really well too, and they are good killers and cheap as.

It's just a standard T3 but with long mag and bolt stop bullets seated at 0.020 off the lands Laupa brass with Federal mag primers COL is 2.937 scope is a VX5 in tally rings.
Shoots so bloody well now I have another T3 .260 for myself to get going so I hope it shoots as well.

When you get yours try and get them to swap the mag for a long action one.

The rifle is a forum slut but anyone lucky enough to have a hoon with it ends up loving it. Loves everything that you put down the barrel. Long action mag and bolt stop makes it a dream to load for too. Glad you like it Neil
