Just an update on this one I've gone to using Federal Large Rifle Magnum primers with great results. I was previously using CCI benchrest but due to not being able to get any, and now not wanting to pay what they cost started using Fed large rifle primers.
My groups started opening up and was scratching my head?? So I tried some loads with Fed Mag primers as bought some of those when that's all that was available.
Groups have gone back to tiny, although I also went to measuring off ogive as noticed there was quite a bit of variation just off OAL which wasn't worried about when shooting well.
My measurements to ogive with hornady 27 gauge is 68.3mm/2.6935".
These things are hammers, way over the top for fallow learnt my lesson there a few times, pigs certainly don't like them and roll down the hill like wee barrels once hit.
