How do you guys lengthen or modify your tikka mags to take longer seated projectiles. Wanting to lengthen mine for the 208 eldm in 300 wsm.

Following, my 7mm wsm wont mag feed. Think my best option is to change the bolt stop and buy a larger mag (not going to work for you i guess)
They won’t feed out of a longer mag, the case is to wide and binds up
I take some photos later of my 270 wsm one that a old fellow and me did seat the projectiles right feeds mint

See if the longer rounds chamber first. Anything over mag length jams into the rifling in my WSM.
I use 208 eld in 300wsm tikka, the coal is 3.010 when the projectile touch land. After Removing the mag spacer, you will need something to fill the space as what @sometimes 1 has done. I use one piece of eraser and it works fine. The long bolt stop from gun works won’t fit due to the little hole is too smal for the little pin so I modify the factory bolt stop to the long one by filing it.
