Tumbler media
I looked at the state of the brass thats coming for the little rimmed .222, its expensive and hard to find so I thought Ill get a tumbler to clean it up and look after it, just looking at the media options I've just used walnut shell in the past, I see other options now including steel pins, what does the best job?

Wet tumbled brass is a thing of beauty. Inside and outside are cleaned. Drying them is annoying but not hard. Dry tumbling works well still, definitely doesnt get the results from stainless pins and wet tumbling. Technically the dry media is cheaper, but its not a one off.cost like stainless pins are. I het my pins from aliexpress and they are abour 1/3 the price your pay for the frankford arsenal ones etc

Geez sorry about the spelling in that:XD: i guess it depends on the finish you desire to get. The chap that tought me the basics of reloading would toss a case into the lee locking stud, into the drill and hit it with 0000 steel wool and some car polish. Looking back...:wtfsmilie::XD:
