    Ultrasonic cleaners?

    Hi Folks!

So when I got my Dillon 550B a few weeks ago it came with a Ultrasonic cleaner as seen in the pictures?

As I am a rookie when it comes to reloading etc I'm just wanting to find out a bit more about this one?

I Noted that the units frequency power rate 40Hz but here in NZ the power supply is 50 Hz.
Better query that with an electrician or techo before using it.

that 40kHZ (kilohertz) thats the output frequency of the ultrasonic transducer. way above human hearing but you may sense it if you press your forehead onto it.

it will work fine on brass but if you isopropyl alcohol in it its fantastic on jewelry (no watches)

well the surrounding air can so use maximum ventilation. pretty safe outdoors though. way safer than charging a dodgy lithium battery

I must try that. I use either dish-washing liquid with a teaspoon of citric acid but results are marginal so I follow up with a walnut media tumble. Not "as new" as i see in some posts.
