I've come to the realization that neck tension, or lack of it may have played a factor in the issue of lack of pressure. My Lee collet die sizes necks quite tight, perfect for jacketed bullets but little too tight for cast especially the 210's which are .314. 160 and 180s are .312. I bought a Lyman 'M' die for the 210's which reopens the necks about .001 to .002 larger. It still gives more than enough neck tension for the 210's but seems not enough for jacketed bullets and maybe not enough for the 160's to produce enough pressure with 2208? yes I know its slow for cast. The 160's I recently loaded was the first time I used the 'M' die for these bullets and it did seem a little easy to seat them. I'm gonna load up another batch, I won't use the 'M' die but instead the lee universal flaring die I bought not long ago to help seat. Hope this makes a difference. Will look at more crimp.
