    Haha that has also been in consideration - I shot a lot of stuff including my best ever Tahr with a wee Mauser Kurz 250 before I sold it to @nor-west.

    One consideration is brass loss, shooting goats and wallabies I seem to come home with a lot less than I started . . . . Hence leaving $3+ per piece out on the hill rankles a bit! Decent stashes of 22-250 come up pretty regular.
