'Sage'...not the Sage of 'annihilate all living or dead Tahr, I trust. For one of the best case lubes in the game, grab a tub of Hornady Unique Case Lube. You'll never stick a case in your die, period. It's the only stuff that lubes 25/303 resizing without effort and lasts a lifetime.

I would be quite happy to annihilate a couple of Tahr if the opportunity arises . Being a conservation minded responsible citizen I would be prepared to do my part..... perhaps I could get Sage to sponser the trip ?

I checked my Redding Boss press and found that it would be a bit small for the.338 Lapua. You will probably need one of the larger presses. Just check before you hand over the cash. The tricky bit would be placing the projectile in the case neck when seating the projectile. The longest cartridge I load is the 6.5-06.
Fear not outlander, I believe Ftx325 was referring to sage as one who spreads knowledge rather than relationship to the recently demoted person of the same family name. Thanks Ftx325. Sage, I believe, falls many rungs below guru on the ladder of knowledge.
Regarding Lee Loaders, I have several but only use the .303 one for neck sizing .303 cases. Nothing else I have does this better.

Between utube and the load manual info you should be right for basic loads.
Getting someone to show you and load up a batch while flipping a few caps off brown bottles (after) will shortcut the learning curve to 1evening

You're just pure mischief, mate. It's a bloody good thing that we never rode bikes together in days past.

If you want to reload 357 then you are welcome to use my stuff before comitting to buy anything.
I also have dies for 300wsm, 6.5saum, 223 (i think) and 300norma mag.

Well if you can't have a chuckle with friends @outlander why bother getting out of bed eh ?
And I'm sure had we been able to ride together mate we would have had alot of fun ( assuming you could have kept up that is )

I'm all good for 357 at mo thanks @mikee but I would certainly be interested to watch next time you load anything up if that's a possibility.

Keep up! I'm suspected of suffering from Mazephobia (sounds of Ftx325 shuffling pages of his dictionary). I'd be diving in on the inside of ya, knee down and laying rubber on my Triumph Cub 200.

Now that's a machine I haven't seen in a long time. Be rare as rocking horse poo nowadays. I did have a brief flirtation with a 3ta though , although it had had the "bathtub" removed before I owned it. Another rare puppy nowadays.

just grab what ever to get started, some awesome forum members might help out with surplus gear at good rates. then build up with good stuff later. any lyman gear is good rcbs is excellent. i dont own lee dies so cant comment on them all my dies are rcbs or hornady.

If its a curiosity then maybe follow the advice of picking up bits as you go, if like me you just know the OCD in you will bind you to it just buy a full kit and get into it. Even with a full kit you'll find yourself continually adding different bits to your table, that cant be helped and you wont know some of the items until you need them. A kit with an electronic dispenser would be my advice, I went with a Lyman setup with the Gen6 dispenser.
You've already had a lot of good advice so take the relevant bits and have fun.
