    Given the price of new brass, Starline and upwards, and the age and condition of a lot of the old CAC and HXP etc brass around, plus what TM sellers price it at, you're probably just as well to buy new PPU ammo at sub $40 a box of 20, shoot it and use the brass several times to reload.

    Old brass that is not actually rotten with corrosion can have new life breathed into it by annealing but you do need to get it at the right price. The brass from PPU ammo is reasonably good stuff. Neck size it to your rifle after first firing then anneal every 3-4 reloads. You might be pleasantly surprised how long it lasts.
