Thread: Weta Precision App

I'm very new to hunting, have downloaded the Weta Precision app and used it once with relative success.
I was looking at purchasing the Strelok app but wonder, is there any difference in how apps work out trajectories or do they all use the the same formulas to tell you how to dial with any given variables?

Iv had it unused on my phone for awhile and have just opened it up to try be of assistance and modelled up my load in it and am getting the same correction as other apps it’s actually pretty intuitive Id stick with it and practice what ever you do don’t go trying to put holes in animals until you have had a lot of range time to much to soon ends well for no one

Cheers Kelton, really appreciate it. I had used it once at 300yds shooting a gong then did use it once on an animal at 360yds and both hit at the height I wanted(did hit the deer a little further back than I'd hoped but I think that was me pulling the shot)so seemed accurate enough.
So I suppose I used it twice.

That’s where the practice will come in I’d suggest limiting shots on animals to a lot closer for awhile depending on how new to shooting you are lost wounded animals is a disaster
