Playing with some old Lapura 185gr D46 projectiles in the faithful 308 - Started working with 44.8gr of 2208, ladder testing up to 46gr but without showing any signs of pressure & 2715fps (SD 7.8 ES 15). Managed to see 0.55MOA at 600 yards without testing seating depth either!

Feeling the need for speed so will be working up to 47gr till we start seeing pressure signs or hit 2900-3000 fps.

What barrel length?

Haven't loaded anything today, but did de-prime 599 Lapua Palma 308 cases on Monday.
Next step anneal, then wax & size, then clean.
Final steps prime, powder and projectile - then shoot 'em again.

I doubt it will get that high as I’m too stubborn to change powders, and expect to just stay between high 2700- low 2800 range as I’d like it to be staying supersonic at 1000 yards for electronic targets. D46’s don’t have a great BC so it does drop some off.
