Does anyone know what powder Winchester use in their 7mm RM factory loads?
The powder in factory loaded ammo is not the same as available in canisters sold to reloaders, the factories load to pressure not by powder weight so even if you could source the powder the charge weight would be
just a guess, checkout Hodgdon's reloading data they have all the load data for Winchester powders as well as all other American powders

I just pulled some 140gn 7mmm Rem Mag factory loads (charge weight 74.5gns) and was curious as to what they used. I guessed maybe 780 Supreme but after what you said who knows.
Wondered this as well, wanted to remake the hornady superperformance round... Never got round to it lol
That Super Performance shoots nice in my Tikka, I just grabbed some SSTs and had a play. Got them shooting nicely with 2225.Quote:
