    Pedants put too much emphasis on getting annealing perfect down to the last 5 thou below the neck or shoulder, truth is as long as every bit of brass is done the same then they will give identical performance.

    You can anneal the neck only for neck tension and brass longevity reasons or include the shoulder for fire forming and concentricity improvements

    I have seen some Lapua, Bertram and federal brass annealed half its length, which I think is going a bit too far.
    Are you annealing yours 7mm and if so whats your rig?
