Thread: where to get hammer bullets from ?

im wanting to get some .264 Cal-137gr Hammer Hunter™ for my 6.5 saum, does anyone know who brings these in ?

You’ve got to order them in online yourself from the states. Usually show up within 2 weeks. Postage is a killer, if you do an order let me know as I’m getting close to needing more so we could split postage. I’m sure a few others on here might jump in too if you were keen to go that way

No. Go to their site and plunge in.
Ammo Direct’s (nz) Maker bullets are worth a look too. I think they are extending the range they bring in.

I've been looking at some Hammers as well but the frieght has put me off so far.
Could be interested in jumping in as well to share costs.

I would be inclined to go a bit lighter for hammers in the 6.5.
If you email Steve at hammer he's pretty good at recommending what will work well

already have a 2980fps load with 156gr eol berger hunters, so thinking these would be whipping out well over 3000fps.

Ideal if you can get around the 3200fps

You should sell that rifle, you have a perfectly good 308 to shoot deer with.

I have a couple of 100 boxes of Hammers that I’ll pass on at cost if interested? Both 6.5mm.
129gn Absolute Hammers
139gn Shock Hammers

I’ll do an order again in a few months when I hopefully get back to the US.

I just picked up 8x boxs of 156gr berger eol for my 6.5 @ 700 from trademe, so will be running those until this barrls burnt out. will look at hammers again in the future.
