    Winchester primers

Do the small rifle Winchester primers have the bad reputation that the large rifle primers have?
    Or are they ok.

I have shot tens of thousands and never had one problem, sum pretty hot, .17 and .22hornets, .17, .221fireballs, .222 .223, 6x47 rem etc.
I trust them, but not the large rifle, as had a couple let go.
I do prefer rem 7.5 if I can get them, and now use CCI 400 or BR4 in high intensity rounds, ie .17 fireball and 6x47rem.
Happy with WSR, in most stuff and they easy to get, and reasonable priced,

I think the issues with gas leakage were just with the WLR. I stopped using them years ago and will not go back to them even if Winchester have long solved the issue.

I do however use WSR Magnum primers with confidence.
