If your loading long projectiles like ELDX OR Bergers get the hornandy dies and the extra insert for eldx projectiles.
I bought the lee kit and had to get the insert machined out by gunworkswas about $15, not a big issue but it does mean if I ever decide to load standard length projectiles I'll need to buy another insert for the seating die.

@dannyb I stilll had issues with the ELD seating stems, running a slightly compressed load it was pressing a ring around the projectile. Only dies that worked for me was the Redding ones with VLD seater.

Can do you a New set of Lee dies: Full length die, Neck sizer die, Collet crimp die, Seater die, powder measure, and size 2 shell holder ( for .270).
Comes with comprehensive user instructions. $75. Normally $100 retail.

Either Berger 150g or eldx 145g and this powder https://www.gunworks.co.nz/shop/item/adi-ar2213sc
Should see you right, what rifle specs ? What intended use ?

Agree with staring with ar2213sc, very good powder from 270, especially given your 24" barrel.

Projectiles suggested above are good also 150gr SST and 140gr AB. Bullet choice depends somewhat on what u are shooting at.

Model 70 270 , need to double check but I'm sure its 24inch barrel with dpt suppressor . Tried googling twist rate and came up with 1:10.

It's my only rifle so is used on reds tahr and chamois

If you cross my palm with a little extra silver, not only will you get a good die set, I just happen to have some 2213 and a variety of pills to sample, and starting points for loads. I am also Model 70 .270 . Your pm didn't turn up.
