    I suggest a faster powder such as a shotgun or pistol one. Blank requirements are totally different to projectile loads once the crimp has opened the pressure needed to keep it burning is lost. A super fast poeder like red dot or 700x should work. I have no suggestions on amounts but nowhere near a full case. Some 308 blanks i disassembled years ago were only bout a third full and the powder burnt bout as fast as gunpowder woosh! Smokeless requires pressure to burn is different to
