found this one rather interesting, and because some folks have resorted to using capgun caps from the $2 shop...yeah thought it just had to be shared....

also found the how to of reloading PRIMERS!!!! now thats getting real when you need to do that to keep shooting.. looked far too fiddly to me and the war dept gave it a resounding NO WAY..... guess I should be pleased she doesnt want me to blow myself up.

Your sales pitch probably got interrupted when you got to the bit about starting to buy hairspray.

Yes, something I can't be bothered with myself either.

But it's good to know you can do it if things get tight. My prepping only extends to saving spent primers in a jar. Just in case of ... never.

BTW, it's easy to make a hazardous friction- and percussion-sensitive meal compound, cf. what they used in the percussion tubes (an early blind-alley technology for flint lock conversion), just mill the ingredients separately and in small amounts.

not mine...pinched unashamably from the cast boolits forum...pretty sure it was Tasbay on the old forum who was using capgun caps.
AND back when I had hair I was more of a brylcream kind of guy...it went with the mutton chop whiskers and winklepicker shoes.
