you need to try a selection and see what your gun prefers.

Are we talking pellets or slugs 2 different things. Slugs are usually heavier & designed for a faster twist barrels and power, better BC they carry further & buck the wind better are great for longer range.
    Wolverine are pellets.

In my experience the light weight ones are generaly less accurate than mid weight ones, however light weight pelets tick the box for claimed velocity.

I use all mid range weight pellets in .22 calibre but my .22 air rifles are either multipump or c02 powered. 14grain ish pellets are the lightest i go.

If your using a spring or gas ram break barrel air rifle stay away from lighter weight pellets! Why? Because they are less accurate. They shorten the life of your gun and useless for hunting.

Ok bit more info is needed
    So slugs not pellets
    500mm barrel
Maxed at 150bar at current hammer weight
Fx stx liner - so far doesn’t like .218 and by the looks of it limited to sub 30grain
Looking for a few .217 and maybe some.216 to try as $40 odd a packet to say na no good is getting old fast

Scratching an itch if it doesn’t like them il run the pellets and keep it under a 100

I use 18 grn JSB pellets, pushing them at around 900 fps (similar barrel). Most FX guns like those pellets and I am happy with them on rabbits out to 100 m on a calm night. The slugs like Spyda will give you more confidence with better BC for longer ranges plus NZ made. They sell sample packs too.

The Spyda slugs work well, 25 grain is the lightest I think he does in .22( must remember to order more actually)
The 21grain HN slug seems to work well in rifles that have a super slow (1-32) or just slow (1-18/20 etc),
The 25grain HN you might get lucky as well.
I backed down on the pressure a bit and work for accuracy over speed, 900fps 21 grain slug and luckily enough can interchange with 21 grain pellets at 940fps for same POI.
