Thread: .22 Subs performance

I like the Winchester subs for both accuracy and performance on rabbits, but hares are a different matter! I found that the Winchester subs would expand too quickly and cause painful and slow-killing (or even non-fatal) wounds on the heavier-bodied hares. The answer is subsonic solids (ie. target ammo) which shoot to the same point of aim and penetrate much better, giving clean kills.
