Thread: 22 WMR shotshell

I have been given 120 of the above named amo (CCI).
Can anyone give me a good example of a legit use for them?
I have Quails here, but not keen to shoot them. Got a 22 LR (with shotshell) for rats etc etc.
At 1000 fps, and with such a light grain#12 shot, I cant think of an application.

I have used them on rats, mice and for birds inside sheds, very close range, 5m or so, normally wont puncture roofing iron, so the odd magpie and starling of the top of the shed,
used quite a bit for vermin control, in the likes of a grain or chicken sheds.

Well, that kind of matches my thoughts so far. I don't have a feral bird problem though. House is surrounded by native full of Bellbirds, Tuis, Bush falcons and Wekas.
If anyone wants some 22 mag shotshell, let me know

That had occurred , as well as the possible issue of shooting them through a suppressor.

If you looking for a home for them I could use them for shooting pigeons in sheds for training my pup. Currently just using an air rifle.

Pengy old chum, I have an Anschutz .22 Smooth bore Long shot that I believe has just been sold, perfect for that, will confirm next week when home it is a done deal... they may be interested in the ammo..

Pengy's ammo is .22 WMR so I don't think it'll chamber in your Anschutz .22 Long?
