That's exactly what they have done, of course .22lr and .22wmr use different bullets/case diameter so it's the only way to get a sub to work-it's not like .38supper and .357mag where you can just use he shorter one in the longer action.

Oh is the casing a different diameter? I just figured they were longer but never shot a magnum so never looked at them closely
