Thread: 2800fps 22lr?

Stumbled across this old video using 22 air rifle pellets in front of nail gun blanks to get 2800fps out of a 22lr. There's also links to a testing video where they test penetration.

Hard case the .22 is all but dead and gone now with the exception of the ramset job master which is junk I think their .28 cal now semi auto 10 shots don’t tell though my rates will go up if I have my semi taken and I’m back to single shot

If the low or med power cases gave something like sub-2" group at 25 yds, they might be interesting but they were all over the place. Pressures must have been "up there" with the grunty charge.
