Areas for rabbits in/around welly?

Just want to christen the new 12g :) Don't know any farmers so hopefully you guys might know!

I tend to go to Kaitoke quite early ie 8am and seem to come across quite a few farmers checking their 22s before they go off rabbit popping. next time I just might ask "need any help" they can only say no.
