Back to the old stamping ground

Meet up with a farmer the other day doing our groceries on who's property I spent many hours nightshooting in the Pest Board Days. He quickly invited me up for a rabbit shoot as he said the numbers were still good on the property.
My wife and I went up today for a bit of a look around and it was nice just walking around the paddocks looking for rabbits.
Numbers were good and my shooting was a little rusty to start with but later improved, the little 22 K Hornet working well at the 100 to 155 yard mark which was the longest shot for the evening.
We shot a total of 22 Rabbits so was a good start getting back into what I did for a living 10 plus years ago. Plenty more rabbits were seen and we only did three small gullies so we will be back for round two plus many more I would imagine.

Yeh I shot two rabbits with HV 22 and both managed to get down burrows, the K Hornet knocks them down a lot better, although one i hit got away also with the Hornet, it's a problem when they sit right at the entrance of there burrows.
