    Bunnies go in the freezer for me, guess if I was shooting enough I would feed them to the dog, but to be fair I gave the frames to the dogs after I gutted and butchered them and they weren't very interested.

    local pub sell rabbit as an entre $18 for 5 or 6 scraps. i have shot 10k plus. i should be rich !!

    Yep. Goat meat was $40 Per kg, and venison leg steak even less. All from same company

    What is the rabbit stock in south island we can think? Actually, rabbit is good eat meal. If could commercialize it for export, it could be a good money. Just question of how to do it.

    Lots of hoops and hurdles for that one. It’s bad enough doing them commercially for pet food. Won’t fly cos of too many/poisons around

    But the person shooting them struggles to get $6 per kg and has to do a massive amount of work and fucking around.
