Don't feed too much liver to dogs. Always mix a bit with other meat.
I made the mistake out of ignorance and poisoned them with too much Vitamin D, resulting in skeletal problems later in life. Learned of the mistake many years later.

good point Nakihunter I do remember being told that when we used old cows for dog tucker - possum is really great dog food - but cut the claws off - when I bred ridgebacks I had a little to do with show people - to get a shine on their dog for show they gave the dog a little corn oil in milk came out in the coat - might be good for those breeds like vizla and GSP keep the cold away a bit
