    co2 BB/slug pistol

Anyone around Kapiti coast got a co2 pistol that they would let me borrow?

The neighbours have a bit of a pigeons problem in there shed, I want to go in and shot them at night but it's clad with iron and the .22 goes straight throw, need something a bit softer.

I read about a guy that would pull the projectiles from the .22lr and fill with wax to shoot mice.

Bird shot .22 definitely won't go through.... played with that a bit.
Got a handful of them if you want some more.

Just fired a shot at a target and I'd think no, it opens up very quickly and I'd think it would start inside the suppressor

I have a new Baikal break open air pistol for around the $160 mark and can include freight and a pack of pellets.

Another suggestion is a rubber shotgun we used to make as kids. It may work, but at nearly free is worth trying.

You get a 12 inch piece of rigid PVC or thin wall steel pipe about 25mm in diameter. (or there abouts longer or shorter does not matter)

Get a good quality rubber glove. Cut one finger off the rubber glove and tape it securely to the end of the piece of tube. (Do not disgard the remaining glove- the fingers will wear out fairly frequently)

drop a few small stones, / projectiles in just like a muzzle loader.

Pinch your fingers around them through the end of the finger and pull back as far as you dare just like a sling shot

Aim pipe like a shotgun in the direction of your target and let the finger go.

I would suggest testing your projectiles on a scrap piece of iron as, depending on the quality of the glove, you can get quite a bit of power out of it.

May or may not hit a bird but will scare the bejesus out of them for certain......!!!!

haha yea we use to make those too, mum use to get annoyed because we'd cut the thumb and fingers off dish washing gloves.

didn't get a chance to have a go at the pigeons, mate come round and we got distracted talking shit.

So 22lr bird shot is rubbish or the stuff I had was old and lost its bang, shot a few with it and they just looked at me.

Slug gun proved the best, got rid of 28 in one go. Only about 7 left (the smart ones that flew off when the shooting started)
