CZ 457 Lux.
Made a trip down south (Calgary Canada)to pick up replacement salmon fishing gear, as all my reels and rods are still in NZ, thanks to a cancelled flights.
Got talking to the owner about guns and stuff, and in passing I asked if he had any nice .22, well he brings out a 452 lux, (ive got one in .22 mag,) I am considering weather I should, and a CZ 457 LUX .22 arrives, wow, super nice, I place them side by side, $30 difference, the 457 has super wood, is threaded, adjustable trigger, 60 Deg bolt throw, and normal safety, forward to fire, and way smother action, the 452, just seams plain.
Any how a walked out, with a new 457 .22,
Gave it a run today, shoots ok, the 36gr CCI and 36 gr Aguila, giving about 1.5" groups at 50M with the irons, pretty dam happy. sure makes my other .22 a browning SR.22 look pretty dame ordinary, as its scoped and not much better at 50m,
